Raigarh The famous Gouri Shankar Temple in the city was built in the month of March 1948. It took two whole years to build it. In the construction of the temple, the monastery of the city is the main contribution of Seth Kirorimal. He had built a temple by calling artisans from Mumbai. In which all works relating to the decoration of the inner part of Lord Gauri Shankar were performed. Since then this temple has become the main center of faith for the Raigadese settlers.
