Kali MataTemple Kali Temple is situated on the main road of Akashvani Tiraha of Raipur, the capital of the state of Chhattisgarh. Kali Mata temple is popular all over the state. The Naga sadhus who came from Kamakhya during the British rule represented the appearance of Mahakali in the forest. Stayed in the forest for three days and set up Mahakali and set out on the journey ahead. His dhuni was buried under the banyan tree next to the temple, where the present-day Bhairavnath statue is. The temple was renovated in 1992.
