Kawardha Palace Kawardha Palace is one of the royal palaces built by the erstwhile rulers of Chhattisgarh where tourists are welcomed with hospitality, tourists experience royal hospitality in the magnificent palaces. Kawardha Mahal is one of the palaces of Chhattisgarh that provides a glimpse of the princely era.Kawardha Palace was built by Maharaja Dharmaraj Singh ji in the period 1936–39. In 1991, Maharaja Yogeshwar Raj Singh Ji gave this palace a royal hotel and renovated it with commercial corridors, residential rehabilitation and courtyards and small birds. The enchanting building has a mixture of styles of Mughal, Italian and colonial carpet architecture.The grand staircase and large veranda inside the palace are built for tourists to read, relax or enjoy solitude. Due to the private residence of the royal family in the upper floor of the palace, guests or tourists are prohibited to go there. Apart from this, the main royal court hall, a room with carved huge columns, etc. are open for guests.
