About Lankapalli Waterfall
33 km south of Bijapur district headquarters is Awapalli village which is the headquarters of Usur block. About 15 km to the west from here, a village named Lankapalli is situated, which is famous for its 12-month continuous waterfall here. This waterfall, which flows calmly, cleanly, and freely in the lap of nature, is locally called Bokta in the Gondi language, as this waterfall is located near the village of Lankapalli, hence it is known as the Lankapalli.
The waterfall consists of seven kundas and is formed by the river Chintavagu. The waterfall falls from a height of 100 feet. The waterfall can be visited in the rainy seasons and winters. It is named after the river Lankapalli. This waterfall is formed by the river Chintavagu, a tributary of the Godavari river. This 7 kunds waterfall falls from a height of 150-180 ft. and a small kund is formed at every 20-25 ft.
The best time to visit this waterfall is during October-February.

लंकापल्ली जलप्रपात Lankapalli जगदलपुर jagdalpur से NH-16, 74 कि0मी0 दूरी पर रास्ते में है जिला मुख्यालय बीजापुर से 10 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर आवापल्ली से इलमिडी तक 10 कि0मी0 का सफर तय कर पहुंचा जा सकता है।
इलमिडी से करीब 3 कि0मी0 की दूरी पर लंकापल्ली गांव है, जहाँ से 2 कि0मी0 की दूरी पर लंकापल्ली जलप्रपात Lankapalli स्थित है. यह जलप्रपात में हर 20-25 फीट पर एक छोटा कुंड बनता है।
