Tandula(Adamabad) dam built on river Sukha and Tandula in 1912.
Tandula dam is located 5 km from Balod in the Durg district. The dam site is beautiful with a great view of the large water body. The water to Bhilai Steel Plant is supplied from here. There is a Sua resort near the dam which is managed by Chhattisgarh tourism and this is the only place near the dam for dining. The dam is good for picnic and is quite beautiful especially at sunrise and sunset.
It is a dam which supplies water to Bhilai Steel Plant. It is a nice picnic spot. You can visit as a single family or in group. You will enjoy the spot if you go in a group. There is enough space for cooking food too. You can take a round on the dam. You have to walk over the dam.
Built by British, this an earthen dam used for irrigation and water supply to Bhilai Steel Plant. Old but stable structure.
