Cherki Mahal Kawardha Chherki Mahal is another ancient Shiva temple built in the 14th century AD. Although this temple is smaller than the nearby Bhoramdev Temple and Mandwa Mahal, the main gate of this temple is decorated with beautiful carvings of quadrangular lord Ganesha, Shiva, Parvati and river goddesses. A visit to this temple, built amidst the picturesque landscape of the Maikal mountain range, passes through the Bhoramdev Temple, Mandwa Mahal and the Chherki Mahal to complete an exquisite spiritual circle.
