Lohara Baoli is a historic building, which is located 20 km in the south-west direction of Kawardha district of Chhattisgarh state.
Lohara Bavli was built 120 years ago by Baijnath Singh. Baijnath was a member of a branch of the ruling Kawardha family.
This well unusual feature is the presence of chambers within the inner walls.
Before the monsoon arrived, the rulers of Kawardha used to stay in these rooms to get rid of the heat.
