Kelo Dam is a man-made dam built over the Kelo River. If you come from the city of Raigar, the Kelo Dam comes first, then the Banjari Mata Temple.
The Kelo Dam was established as part of an irrigation project covering areas such as Kharsia, Pusaur and Raigad blocks in Raigad district and Dabhra block in Janjgir-Champa district. The target was to complete the Kelo Dam in Chhattisgarh, a tributary of the Mahanadi River main basin, built by the year 2018, on the Kelo River.
