मलञ्झ्कुदुम झरना कांकेर की प्रमुख झरना है। कांकेर जिला छत्तीसगढ़ के दक्षिणी क्षेत्र में स्थित है। यह पहले पुराने बस्तर जिले का एक हिस्सा है। पांच नदिया जिले कि प्रवाह के माध्य से गुजरती हैं। ये पांच नदिया महानदी नदी, तुरु नदी, सिन्दुर नदी, दूध नदी और हतकुल नदी हैं। जिले की अर्थव्यवस्था कृषि पर आधारित है और क्षेत्र की मुख्य फसल चावल है। क्षेत्र के अन्य महत्वपूर्ण फसलें हैं – गन्ना, भुट्टा, चना, कोदो, मूंग, तिल्ली और गेहूं हैं।

मलञ्झ्कुदुम झरना, छत्तीसगढ़ मे प्राचीन काल से एक सबसे खूबसूरत झरना रहा है। इस खूबसूरत झरना का एक बड़ा पैमाने है भीड़ खिचना और सदियों से पर्यटकों को आकर्षित करना।

मलञ्झ्कुदुम झरना, जब उचाई से हवा का सीना फाड़ते हुए जमीन पर गिरता है वह बहोत ही देखनी होता है। इसकी ऊंचाई 10 मीटर से 15 मीटर और चौड़ाई 9 मीटर की हैं। भारत में कांकेर के मलञ्झ्कुदुम झरना दूध नदी पर कांकेर से 15 कि.मी. की दूरी पर है। दुनिया के हर कोने से और पूरे भारत से हर साल हजारों पर्यटकों द्वारा इसकी सुंदरता का लुफ्त उठाया जाता है।

Malajkudum Waterfall is a group of three waterfalls, where the uppermost and the bottommost falls are comparatively small and cascade down from a height of 15-20 ft. The height of the middle waterfall is 20-25 ft. The main characteristic of this waterfall, it is respectively on a height and in a hierarchical manner, so only one waterfall can be viewed at a time. River Dudh is the source of this waterfall. Similarly, 7kms away from Kanker, the confluence of ‘Dudh river’ and ‘Mahanadi’ is also awe-inspiring.

Malajkudum Waterfall is composed of three falls. Kanker District is located in the southern region of Chhattisgarh and was earlier a part of the old Bastar district. The five rivers that flow through the district include Doodh River, Hatkul River, Mahanadi River, Turu River, and Sindur River. The district’s economy is based on agriculture. The main crop of the area is Rice. The other major crops are chana, Kodo, wheat, sugar cane, bhutta, Moong, and Tilli.
